Pastor Vasiliy Osadchuck

The Osadchuck’s originally joined the East Texas Adventist family in 1998 when they took a call to pastor Lufkin and Corrigan churches. They continued in the Texas Conference pastoring Richardson, Nacogdoches and Hemphill church district through 2009. In 2009, they took a call to Ontario, Canada pastoring Immanuel SDA Church in Toronto.

When their kids Erik and Melissa became Academy and College age, they moved to Weimar College in California. While there, Pastor Vasiliy taught Greek at the Theology department, and Agriculture and Bible at the Academy. Meanwhile, his wife Karis worked at a nearby healthcare facilities as a Physical Therapist.

Karis is a native of California claiming a rich West European and US heritage with a whiff of Native Indian. She is almost fluent in Spanish and speaks some Russian. She loves flowers, gardening, journaling, praying and reading.

Pastor Vasiliy was born in the former Soviet Union. He was raised in Ukraine, Moldova, and Russia which makes him multilingual, speaking Ukrainian, Russian, Romanian and now English. Currently he is working on his Spanish and Texan languages. He is an avid gardener and is passionate about honey bees. Besides growing bees and harvesting healthy crops, his passion is inspiring people to become better followers of Christ and co-workers with God in harvesting souls for the Kingdom. His support team includes his wife Karis, and their children when they are available.
